Children's Day gift list | What I Wish
For toddlers, stacking toys, touch-and-feel books and floor games work well. In the primary school years come board games, chapter books, science kits and sports gear. Older kids tend to want tech, video games and plans like an outing or a ticket.
What does not change with age: the gift that gets used most is the one the kid has been asking for. Build the list with them and every gift arrives with the excitement already there, while the family gives with confidence.
Children's Day falls on a different date depending on the country, but the scene repeats everywhere: several adults asking what to give the same kids in the same week.
If you have more than one kid, build a list for each so gifts stay even and nobody gets too much. A single list with names on each item also works, if the family prefers to see everything together.
Some gifts are too much for one uncle but fine for everyone together. With group gifting in What I Wish, several relatives contribute to the same item.
